Parenting and Co-Parenting Counseling
For the past 20 years, I have had the privilege of partnering with parents and caregivers to intentionally craft family systems that nurture positive attachment and create safe spaces for growth and learning. Together, we've navigated the ever-evolving landscape of parenting, adapting to new challenges with resilience and creativity. I've supported families through various evidence-based programs, such as Circle of Security, Circle of Parents, Incredible Years, and Triple P Parenting, and I've consistently heard from caregivers about the desire to align their parenting approaches and philosophies.
I understand that whether you are navigating the dynamics of a single home or co-parenting across multiple households, communication and collaboration can sometimes feel overwhelming. Differing beliefs, uncertainties about addressing children's behaviors, new family diagnoses, or transitioning through separation and divorce can all add layers of complexity to parenting.
I welcome the opportunity to help you find greater peace in your parenting journey. Together, we can define your family's shared goals and create a co-parenting plan that suits your unique situation. My role is to facilitate open communication between caregivers, ensuring that you work together to support your children in the best ways possible. I provide insights and practical parenting skills tailored to the needs of your family, so you can feel empowered in your approach.
On a personal note, I have found parenting to be the most challenging and enriching undertaking in my life’s journey. I also believe that working to raise securely attached children who know they are loved and supported to be one of the most radical acts of activism we can work towards. I am grateful to be able to offer parent and co-parent therapy to support the overall health of our community’s diverse and unique families.
